Anti Poaching Training Courses Photos

Anti-Poaching & Conservation — South Africa Documenting the people protecting Africa's wildlife. For two months, I worked alongside Pro Track's anti-poaching and conservation teams in South Africa, documenting the training and daily realities of those working on the frontline of wildlife protection. My role involved filming the intensive training of aspiring anti-poaching operatives, as well as spending time in the bush alongside rhino protection and general anti-poaching teams. Working in challenging environments and around Africa's Big Five gave me the opportunity to capture an authentic insight into the people, pressures and dedication behind the fight to protect endangered wildlife. From documenting training exercises to following teams in the field, the project required a flexible and unobtrusive approach to filmmaking, working around unpredictable conditions and the realities of operating in the remote and dangerous wilderness. The resulting content tells the story of conservation from the ground, highlighting the people who dedicate their lives to protecting wildlife and the immense challenges they face every day.
